The celebration recognized the accomplishments of The Alexander Bodini Foundation Prize for Scientific Excellence in Medicine winners John Mendelsohn, MD, President of the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and José Baselga, MD, Chair & Professor of Medicine at the Hospital General Universitari Vall d'Hebron in Barcelona for work that led to the development and approval of two treatments with widespread applications in both colon and breast cancer.
